2nd day in Tokyo

The next day we went walking from Shinjuku station and found an underground Seibu department store food stalls.

Here we found lots of different kinds of food from fruit jellies to preserved and candied prunes wrapped in a mochi and Hokkaido milk. The milk was sensational! Unlike the milk we have ever tasted in Australia. Its so much more creamy and from Jersey cows and must be feeding on different grass to the dairy cows in Australia because its a lot more nuttier and creamier than we are used to here in Aus. Something everyone should try. We found Hokkaido milk at Seven Eleven stores around Tokyo as well.

Next was off towards Shibuya. French bakeries and pastry shops are popular at the moment In Japan and we were delighted when we found the bakery Viron near Shibuya Istan department store and sold cannelles which we have only found at Black Star Bakery in Newtown back in Sydney.

We had to try one, but we decided that Black Star has the better ones....
